Fifth parliamentary session due to open
Somali president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is expected to officially open the 5th session of the Federal Parliament of Somalia after the members have finished their holiday.
Our correspondent in federal parliament says the last preparation of opening the parliament is actively going as most of the MPs reached the area.
The second deputy Speaker of the federal Parliament Mahad Abdalla Awad, announced last week that the fifth session of parliament will open on Saturday.
President Hassan will address the members of parliament and give details on the situation in the country and the achievements of the government.
Mr. Hassan is also expected to encourage the lawmakers strengthen their collaboration with the federal so as to speed up the achievement of the government.
The fifth session is expected to be the busiest session as the members have many rules of laws to debate on and other bills endorsed by the cabinet that waits their approval.
