GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Finance Minister Bihi Iman Egeh on Monday chaired the monthly meeting of the Financial Governance Committee (FGC), where officials reviewed the government’s financial performance, economic reform agenda, domestic revenue mobilisation and measures to strengthen financial transparency.

According to officials, the transparency framework remains central to improving accountability and the delivery of public financial services, as the committee assessed ongoing efforts to boost revenue collection and ensure more effective management of public funds.

The meeting also examined progress in aligning fiscal reforms with broader economic recovery goals, as the government seeks to reinforce confidence among citizens and international partners.
