Five suspected gang members netted in police swoop in Wadajir, Benadir region

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: A number of youths accused of robbery and extortion were nabbed in a sting operation carried out by authorities in Banadir’s Wadajir district in the last 48 hours.

The Wadajir administration said that it was closing in on the youth gang that has been terrorizing residents, adding that three other members of the gang, namely, Borow, Timada, and Na’Ifow, were on the police watch list.

The authorities have disclosed the names of the young men nabbed in the swoop, numbering five, and released their photos to members of the public.
