Four die as house set ablaze in Bandiiradle village

Four family member have been killed and two others injured in Bandiradley village in Mudug region after their house set ablaze, local officials said Monday.

Unidentified people have doused the house of the family with petrol and set it on fire, according Abdirisack Ahmed Jama’a, Bandiradley chief.

Jama’a said the bodies burnt beyond recognition.

“The four were burnt beyond recognition after their house caught fire, the mother of the family and one of her children were to hospital in critical condition,” said the chief.

He said the police arrested a man said to be the brother of the family mother in connection with the incident.

“A day before incident, the man threatened to set the house of family on fire following disagreement with his sister,” said Jama’a.
