Four injured as a lorry overturns in El-Ma’an village

At least four were injured in a tragic road accident at El-Ma’an area in Middle Shabelle along the Mogadishu-Harardhere highway on Saturday evening.

The accident occurred after a truck from Mogadishu overturned.

Some of the passengers said the driver made an improper lane change, came in contact with another vehicle and flipped on its side.

The mangled wreckages of the vehicle remained at the scene for some time as police recorded details of the crash.

Road accidents are common in Somalia, where highways lack safety features.

In Somalia, most car accident often causes deaths and injuries in which are attributed to the drivers who do not have enough experiences in driving as well as unworthy roads in some regions.
