Four killed after vehicle runs over IED in Kenya’s Wajir County

GOOBJOOG NEWS/WAJIR: Four people have been confirmed dead after the car they were traveling in ran over an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) along the Wajir Gerile road in Wajir county.

The four passengers were aboard a land cruiser ferrying foodstuffs when they hit the landmine about 14 kilometers West of Wajir Police Station at a place called Erga.

The incident, suspected to be an Al-Shabaab attack,  happens two days after at least 10 people died in Mandera county in a similar incident.
