Galmudug president reaches El-bur

A delegation led by Galmudug State Abdikarim Hussein Guleed has reached El-bur town.

The delegates are expected to hold talks with the traditional elders, civil society and the administration of the town.

President Guleed is accompanied by Somali defence minister Abdikadir Sheikh Diini, state minister for constitutional affairs and other parliamentarians.

This comes a day after Somali government forces backed by AMISOM troops launched operations to beef up the security of El-Bur town.

Hundreds of Soldiers are seen in the streets of the town as security forces patrolling in the different suburbs of El-bur town.
