Galmudug President refutes allegations against his leadership

Galmudug President Abdikarim Hussein Guled has hit back at MPs who tabled a no-confidence motion against him, brushing aside allegations against his leadership which led to the motion.

President Guled urged the MPs to drop the motion saying that it was not the appropriate time to submit a motion as the region was facing challenging situations that need concerted efforts to address them.

He called on the MPs to take part in the rescue operation being extended to the victims of the prevailing drought in Galmudug.

Over 50 MPs of the Galmudug parliament filed a no-confidence motion against the embattled president accusing him of incompetence during his term in office.
