Goobjoog TV editor Hanad Guled stabbed, in stable condition

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Goobjoog Television editor Hanad Guled (pictured) was Thursday night attacked and sustained knife stab wounds but is in a stable condition.

The journalist was accosted by men who stabbed him and took away two mobile phones from him before taking off in Mogadishu’s Wadajir district. He was admitted to Kalkal hospital where doctors said he did not suffer major injuries and will be released to complete his treatment at home.

“I am in pain now but the injury is minor, I thank God,” Guled said from his hospital bed. The motive of the attack was not immediately clear. The circumstances surrounding the attack remain unclear.

Goobjoog Media Group is calling on the government to fully investigate this matter and bring to book those behind it.
