Government committee in Abudwak met elders representing the warring clans

Federal government committee in Abudwak district are taking separate meeting with elders representing the clan militias that fought in Galgadud region.

The committee persuaded the sides to take cease fire deal and come to the negotiation table so as to end tribal clashes and hostilities in the region.

Mohamed Issa, among the elders who met the government committee in Abudwak told Goobjoog FM that both sides agreed to quickly stop the bloody clashes without condition and return back the families that fled their houses during the clashes.

Since the tribal clashes embarked in Galgadud region at least ten people from the warring sides were killed and many families fled from their houses.
