Government forces arrests dozens in Mogadishu

Federal government forces backed by African union peace-keeping troops have today launched security crackdown in some districts of Banadir region.
The security operations are actively going on in Waaberi and Hodan districts as government forces are seen asking different questions to the residents.
Most of the roads entering the two districts were blocked by the forces, public transports and pedestrians were forced to use small roads.
The motive behind this security crackdown is not clearly known but security officials say it is part of governments efforts to maintain the overall security of the capital.
Unspecified number of people mostly youth were arrested by the security forces during these planned operations.
