Government Forces conduct security operations in Baidoa

The administration of South-West has state that its soldiers conducted massive operations to beef up the security of Baidoa, the administrative capital.

South-west minister for security, Abdifatah Gasey said that the security operations are meant to tighten the security and foiling of planned attacks after the security forces were tipped off.

The security forces backed by the police force have combed suburbs of Baidoa as they conducted door to door inspections.

Operations curtailed the movement of people and public transport as the soldiers cordoned off the main roads of the town.
