Government Worry Yemen Turmoil Would Badly Affect Somali Refugees

The consular general of Somalia to Aden, Yemen has expressed his concerns that the turmoil in that country could badly affect the Somali refugees there.
Ahmed Abdi Hassan has told Goobjoog that the lives of Somalis in Sanaa are at stake and could face great danger given the airstrikes and fighting.
“The government structure is not there, fighting is ongoing, they totally depended on food suppliers from Adan, but that is not the case anymore” said the diplomat.
He urged the federal government to take measures to ensure the safety of Somali in Yemen who he said are facing great dangers from the warring sides.
