Governor of Banadir province Appoints New Spokesman

The governor of Banadir region and mayor of Mogadishu Hassan Mohamed Hussein aka Muungab sacked the spokesman of his administration as stated in an official statement dated 17/07/2014.

Mr. Mungab named Ali Mohamud Farah”Ali seek” as the new spokesman of Banadir region to replace the former Ahmed Osman  Muhidiin “Ahmed Showqi”.

According to the statement from the office of the Governor and Mayor of Mogadishu, the motive behind the replacement is said to be the need to activate the media related activities of the administration and to give priority to qualified and well experienced individuals to serve the city residents.

The dismissed spokesman was appointed by the Governor and has been in office for less than three months.
