Nine people injured in grenade attack in Mogadishu

Nine people were injured Friday night following a grenade attack at a residential house in Yaqshid district, Mogadishu.

Sources said unknown persons hurled a grenade at a group of men and women in a residential house injuring nine of them. The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

The circumstances surrounding the attack remain unknown. Security forces conducted operations but there were no reports yet of arrests.
