GOOBJOOG NEWS | DOHA: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and the United States have jointly condemned what they described as Iran’s “indiscriminate” missile and drone attacks targeting several countries across the Middle East.

In a joint statement issued in Doha, the governments accused the Iran of carrying out strikes against sovereign territories, including Bahrain, Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The statement said the attacks endangered civilians and damaged infrastructure, calling them a “dangerous escalation” that threatens regional stability and violates the sovereignty of multiple states.

The signatories, the Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and the United States, reaffirmed what they described as their right to self-defence and pledged continued coordination to safeguard regional security.

They also praised joint air and missile defence cooperation, saying it had prevented wider loss of life and damage.

Tehran has not immediately responded to the statement.
