Heavy earthquake struck Wajale district

 

 

 

 

 

Heavy earthquake has on Sunday night struck Wajale district, a border town linking Somalia and Ethiopia.

Though the magnitude of the earthquake is not clearly known it has destroyed some roads in and out of Wajale district according to reliable sources, no other casualties reported.

The locals in Wajale district fearing to be affected by the earthquake that struck the town the late hours of the night walked out of the buildings with their valuable belongings.

The administration of the breakaway state of Somaliland is yet to comment about this incident.
