Heavy fighting broke out between government forces and Al-Shabab fighters in Qasah-dhere town

Reports from Bakool region indicate that Fighting erupted between Somali government forces and Al-Shabab fighters in Qasah-dhere town
The fighting with many hours has caused causalities including lives and destructions of premises in that district.
At least five people from the opposing sides have been killed in that battle.
Qasah-dhere district commissioner, Adan abdi who gave exclusive interview to Goobjoog News has confirmed the fighting.
“The fighting embarked after Al-Shabab fighters attacked the town but they met with antagonistic resistance from Somali national Army in the town and they were driven back” he said.
On the other hand Al-Shabab has not yet commented on the clashes and it causalities.
