Hiran administration to deploy security forces to newly captured areas in the region

The administration of Hiran region in Central Somalia stated that new security forces will be deployed in the newly captured areas of the region.

Senior official of Hiran administration Mohamed Ibrahim said the forces are meant to maintain the security of the areas taken over from Al-shabab by the allied forces.

Mr. Mohamed underlined that the government forces are in hot pursuit of individuals who organized suicide attack aimed at Jalalaqsi district commissioner.

A famous elder in region was killed during the suicide attack in the region, no one has claimed the responsibility of the attack.

Similar suicide attack aimed at AMISOM convoy in Mogadishu- Afgoye highway has killed over 15 people on board of two minibuses and more than twenty others wounded during the attack are being treated in Madina hospital.
