House Committee on Foreign Affairs Faults New Ambassadors

The parliamentary portfolio committee on foreign affairs ha faulted the foreign ministry of badly handling the selection of new ambassadors to Kenya, South Africa, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and United States.
MP Mohamed Omar Dalha, the deputy chair of the committee told Goobjoog that the new ambassadors were not based on the current power sharing criteria.
He also complained of breakdown of communication and lack of cooperation with the ministry of foreign affairs.
“Some sections of the communities were given preferential treatment while others were excluded” says Mr. Mohamed.
