Interior ministry opens seminar for Banadir’s district commissioners

The minister for interior and federalism of federal government of Somalia Abdullahi Godah Bare accompanied by Banadir regional governor and mayor of Mogadishu opened seminar for all the district commissioners in Banadir region.

During the seminar the district commissioners will be taught management and tax collection skills to fund its operations.

The mayor of Mogadishu speaking during the opening of the seminar thanked the ministry of interior for accepting his appointment of educated young tags who are capable of improving the standard of the capital city Mogadishu.

The minister urged the district commissioners to benefit from the opportunity in hand to enhance the development of the province towards changing the status quo.

This is the first seminar of its kind the ministry opened for local government officials since the new administration came to power.
