Internal security minister arrives in Belgrade, Serbia

GOOBJOOG NEWS | BELGRADE: Federal Government of Somalia Internal Security Minister Mohamed Ahmed Sheikh Ali is in Belgrade, Serbia alongside his delegation following an invitation by his counterpart Bratislav Gasić.

The three-day official trip comes at a time when the two countries have continued to deepen diplomatic relations which have seen several Somali students get educational scholarships from the Serbian government.

The two countries have also collaborated in the fight against Al-Shabaab militants where Serbia has continued to train Somali Forces in an effort to contribute to promoting peace and stability in Somalia.

Other fields if collaboration include; economic growth, technology, trade & investment, debt relief, support for international forums, health and education.
