International High-Level Conference of Education opens today in Mogadishu

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hon. Mahdi Mohamed Guled has today opened an international conference on higher education which focuses on the high education sectors in the conflict-affected communities.

The conference, which is held annually by the Somali National University, was attended by the ministers of education and planning, members of the federal parliament, ambassadors, national prosecutors and academics from both local and international universities, and is expected to have a positive outcome developing higher education systems in the country.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia thanks to the chairman of the Somali National University, who has organized this important meeting, and encouraged the participants to stroke the genius of their mind of the three days conference to produce a positive result of the development of higher education system in the country.
