Israeli fleet attacks Hamas base around Gaza

The Israeli platoon was attacking a site in northern Gaza used to launch long-range rockets when it came under fire, a military statement said.

The commandos returned fire and managed to hit the launch site, the statement said, adding that four soldiers sustained light injuries.

Hamas group said its fighters had fired at the Israeli force offshore, stopping them from coming down.

Israeli’s aim is to stop Hamas rocket fire into its territories, the operation is going on for six days.

Israeli is preparing to carry out ground invasion with tanks massed along the border and some 33,000 reservists mobilized out of 40,000 approved by the cabinet.

The last few days most of the attacks were from air hitting at least 1200 targets as officials confirm.
