Jubaland releases list of Delegation Selection Committee for 7 seats

GOOBJOOG NEWS/BAIDOA: Jubaland State Elections Implementation Team has released the names of the delegates set to elect seven out of the 16 seats from the state’s second voting constituency, Elwak.

The statement from SEIT comes after a team composed of members from the federal electoral body and the Dispute Resolution Committee announced that they would go ahead with elections in Garbaharey, contrary to FEIT’s stand on the holding of the poll process in Elwak.

However, the FEIT chairman issued a stern warning to the parallel team, saying that anyone acting contrary to the Federal electoral body’s decisions would face consequences for their actions.
