Jubbaland new chairman injured in Kismayo

Saturday night in the port city of Kismayo, Lower Juba, gunmen have wounded Abukarate Ahmed Jama Qalyar, the chairman of the committee claimed to be protecting Jubbaland.

A spokesman for the Ministry of State Security in the region said the situation of Qalyar is now good, so far they are pursuing those behind injury.

Regarding to the state president speech, this incident comes after madobe denied any other organisation reconciliation including the federal government and international community.

The security of Kismayo has been tightened in recent days, for the presidential election of Jubbaland state ends.
