Jubbaland to elect remaining four senators on Thursday

GOOBJOOG NEWS|KISMAYO: The Jubbaland State Electoral Implementation Committee has announced the date for the election of the remaining four seats in the Upper House constituency in Jubbaland.

The Chairman of the Jubbaland Electoral Commission Dr. Siyad Mohamed Mursal said that the candidates will be registered tomorrow, October 20 and the election of the remaining four seats in the Upper House will take place on Thursday.

Galmudug will be the only state with two Upper House seats yet to be filled when the Jubbaland administration will have completed electing its four remaining senators to the Upper House, but it is expected that the administration will hold the elections soon.
