Jubbaland’s Madobe unveils presidential polls committee

Jubbaland President Ahmed Madobe has appointed a seven-member team to steer the upcoming state presidential elections slated for July this year.

In a presidential decree Saturday, Madobe unveiled the seven members who will serve in the Presidential Elections Committee. The committee members are Hamza Abid Barre, Ahmed Omar Mohamed, Samsam Farah Abukar and Mursal Siyaad Mohamed.

Other members of the committee are Ibrahim Adan Ibrahim, Mohamed Osman Yusuf and Ahmed Mohamed Yusuf.

The state presidential elections is expected to be held in July when Madobe’s term comes to a close.
