Kay and Afeey touchdown Kismayo

 

 

 

The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Somalia Nicholas Kay has reached the port city of Kismayo on Saturday.
Kay was warmly welcomed at the airport by some Interim Jubba Administration officials and other politicians.
He took meeting with IJA administration where they focussed on wide range issues including humanitarian aid and how UN could support IJA fully.
On other hand, IGAD’s especial Envoy to Somalia, Mohamed Abdi Afeey has also arrived in Kismayo town.
Reports indicate the two especial representatives came to observe the ongoing regional parliamentarian selection in IJA.
