GOOBJOOG NEWS|US: Kenya has launched its first satellite into space as the East African nation formally joins countries which have ventured into satellite technologies.

The first operational 3U Earth observation satellite known as Taifa 1 was launched at the Vandenberg Base in California, aboard a Falcon-9 rocket by Space X company.

Today’s successful launch follows three failed attempts attributed to bad weather.
