Lafoole administration calls federal government to solve crises in the area

The administration of Lafoole locality in Lower Shabelle issued warnings that the clashes in the region might affect the residents.

The administrator of the locality Ibrahim Mohamed Guleed stated that his administration will no longer tolerate individuals whom he described as instigators making efforts to create havoc in the area.

The administrator called the ministry of interior and federalism to intervene and solve crises so as to maintain the security of the region.

On the other hand Mr. Guleed sent appeal to international aid agencies to deliver emergency support to internal displaced people who reached Lafoole earlier this year.

Hundreds of families who fled from their homes in Lower Shabelle region clan clashes settled Lafoole and are in desperate conditions.
