Landmine explosion kills 2 civilians in Mogadishu

Landmine explosion in Mogadishu’s  Ali Kamin neibourhood of Benadir region has claimed the lives of two people and another one sustained injuries.

Local residents say the explosion was aimed at a convoy of  federal government forces in the area but they survived unharmed.

This is part of the deadly explosions that rocked the capital city the last few days, similar explosion caused by explosive devices fitted into car has seriously wounded a lecturer of one of the Universities in Mogadishu.

No one claimed the responsibility of the explosions.
