Landmine explosion kills two Ethiopian troops in Gedo region

A landmine explosion targeting Ethiopian troops vehicle killed two soldiers at Garbaharey town in Gedo region, leaving four others seriously injured in the attack.

Residents said that public transport in Garbaharey district was temporarily halted after the incident occurred at the center of the town.

Al-Shabab claimed the responsibility immediately the explosion hit one of the Ethiopian troops’ vehicles which is under the African Union Mission in Somalia.
