Latest Report Shows Positive Progress in Somalia’s Recovery Efforts

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Somalia has shown great progress in its recovery efforts and is on the right track towards better economic and development status as compared to the same period 10 years ago.

The Financial Governance Report 2013-2023 which was launched Monday in Mogadishu in an event attended by the Federal Government of Somalia Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre shows that Somalia is poised to achieve great progress in the next decade.  

Speaking during the function, PM Barre said the federal government is committed to build on the progress and thanked the international partners who supported Somalia throughout this journey.

The event, which was organised by the Ministry of Finance and held in Mogadishu was attended by several high ranking officials including Ministers, MPs, financial advisers and the public to witness the success story of Somalia’s Financial Achievements over the past 10 years.
