Mahad appoints Muhyadin Warbac Shadoor as new Benadir Regional Commander

GOOBJOOG NEWS|BENADIR: The Director General of the National Security and Intelligence Agency, Mahad Mohamed Salad, has appointed Muhyadin Warbac Shadoor as the new Benadir Regional Commander, signifying the beginning of a major overhaul of the country’s spy agency.

Shadoor had been appointed several months ago by Gen. Bashir Goobe under Roble’s government, but a rift between Farmaajo and the latter instead led to the appointment of Yasin Farey in Sep 2021,in acting capacity, following the dismissal of Fahad Yasin over the disappearance of female spy agent, Ikran Tahlil.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Roble graced an event whereby the new director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) Mahad Salad took over office from acting director Yasin Farey.
