Man Behind IED Manufacture in Mogadishu Arrested

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Intelligence operatives in Mogadishu have arrested a man it said was responsible for the manufacture of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in Mogadishu.

According to a statement from the National Intelligence Security Agency (NISA), the man identified as Abdinasir Mohamed Hassan was responsible for the SYL Hotel attack in mid-March.

At least three security personnel were injured and 27 civilians injured during the siege on March 15 which lasted for 13 hours. All Al-Shabaab militants were killed during the siege.
