Man Gets Life for Attacking Turkey Embassy in Mogadishu
The military court has sentenced to life imprisonment to a man who facilitated attacks on Turkey embassy in Mogadishu. Abdikadir Elmi Shire, 25, was also found guilty of taking part in attacks on Mogadishu port and Lido beach.
The military court also sentenced to life imprisonment to a man who belong to Alshabab group, Asad Omar Hassan, 19, was found guilty of smuggling weapons to Alshabab.
According to Col. Hassan Abdirahman Adan, deputy military court judge, two other men were found guilty of belong to Alshabab and both were given 5 years hard labor prison terms. They are Abdisalam Isse, 24, and Mohamoud Tahlil Kahiye, 25.
But the court acquitted 50 year old man Ali Mohamed Noor, the court had no substantial evidence to prosecute him.
