Many internally displaced people in Arbisca hospitalized after malaria outbreak

Internally displaced people residing in Arbisca locality in the outskirts of the capital, Mogadishu are in humanitarian conditions following lack of basic needs and proper medical facilities.

The administrator of Arbisca locality Mohamud Mohamed Abdulle told Goobjoog FM that there is malaria outbreak in the area, many people mostly youth have been hospitalized.

Mr. Abdulle stated that there are no proper health centers to treat the sick people in the locality and people are forced to go far areas for medical checkups.

He added that lack of proper treatment could cause people to die and called for urgent assistance to the local population.
