Military court heard a case against Al-Shabaab suspect

The Army court of the 60th Division today sits for a criminal case against the accused Sidi Ali Suleid Maalim Abdi, who was charged by the Office of the Prosecutor for the twin bombs on 13th Oct 2018 in Baidoa.

The 1st Circuit Court of Appeals presented the confession of the accused and witnesses who identified him as a member of the conspiracy and requested the court to impose appropriate sanctions.

The suspect admitted that he knew more about the two explosions at Badar restaurants, killing more than 26 people and injuring 55 others.

Court Officials in the 60th Division have said that the charges will be presented soon.
