Minister Maareye re-opened the Somali Bureau of standards

The Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Mohamed Abdi Hayir Maareye has today announced the resumption of the Somalia Bureau of Standards, which is responsible for the adoption and application of standards for both imported and domestically manufactured products in the country,

The agency appointed the following five newly appointed members for the office.

1: Adan Hassan Barre- Chairman

2: Abdillahi Salad Hassan- Member

3: Ibrahim Naxamed Hassan- Member

4: Fartun Maalim Siidow Abdi- Member

5: Abdi Saqawe Osman- Member

This agency is under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Somalia, and will also have a variety of branches in all regions of the country, to improve the quality of the ports in the country.
