Minister of Defense, military commander appeared before parliament over security issues
Somalia’s lower House parliament has opened a closed-door meeting with Somalia’s Defense Minister Hassan Mohamed Ali in the parliamentary house on Wednesday.
The meeting is chaired by the First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Abdi Sheikh Ibrahim Mudey and the 2nd Deputy Speaker, Mahad Abdalla Awad.
Parliamentarians have asked the minister direct questions concerning the operations of the National Army as well as the Somali Ministry of Defense progress made for last three years.
Ministry of defence has been doing more effort to detained location under Al-Shabba control across the country but that was never enough for the sufficient security of Somalia.
