Minister of Posts, Communications & Technology of Somali Attends International Conference in Hungary

A delegation led by the Minister of Posts, Communication and Technology of the Federal Government of Somalia, Abdi Hassan participates international conferences in Hungary, which concerns  International Technology issues.

Mr Abdi Anshur Hassan and his delegation attended the opening of the ITU Telecom World Exhibition, one of the largest conferences in the world at the capital city of Budapest Hungarian which will run from 9 to 12 September 2019.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the International Communication Union (ITU), Mr Houlin Zhao, and the Prime Minister Hungary who hosted the international conference.

Members of the Minister’s delegation, including the Director of National Communications, Mr Abdi Sheikh Ahmed, will be attending the symposium on the occasion between the delegation from participating governments, technology companies and experts in various sectors. Variety of Communication, which will discuss opportunities and topics that are important and has an interest in our country.

Somalia, which is considered to be one of the developing countries, has been making significant progress in recent years, with the Ministry of Ports, Telecommunication and Technology of the Somali government succeed in restoring Somalia’s membership of many international organizations.
