Mogadishu: Explosion near Immigration office kills one person

At least one person died and two others wounded by an explosion device fitted to a car near Immigration office along Maka Al-Mukarama road.

The wounded people were rushed to nearby hospitals in the capital for treatment.

Security forces who reached the scene cordoned the area and started investigations, Mohamed Yusuf Omar aka Madaale, Banadir Police commander who briefed the media near the building said that they will give details after the investigations are over.

Recently the security committee of the federal meeting chaired by deputy Prime minister and religious affairs minister Ridwan Hersi Mohamed announced that the government will launch house to search in all villages and garages of Mogadishu so as to maintain the overall security.
