Mogadishu mayor convenes security meeting following terror attack

Mogadishu mayor Omar Mohamud Mohamed (Omar Finish)   met regional security heads and district commissioners Tuesday to find ways to bolster security following the truck bombing Saturday

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Women, youth and security agencies for the Banadir region, focused on strengthening security and security intelligence intended to protect terrorist elements in every district.

Some of the Benadir regional district commissioners who spoke at the conference said they would enhance security in the capital and called on the residents of the district to work with security agencies towards Al-Shabaab’s insurgency.

Filish instructed all security agencies to tight security in the capital and prevent anyone who wants to disrupt Mogadishu’s security.
