Mogadishu Mayor Pledges Infrastructure Funding for Kaxda District

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Banaadir region Governor and Mayor of Mogadishu, Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), has promised new infrastructure projects for Kaxda district, including road upgrades and community care centers.

Speaking at a community awareness meeting attended by district officials, elders and civil society members, Muungaab outlined the regional administration’s broader development plans aimed at improving services and living standards across the capital.

He said the Banaadir administration was committed to delivering projects that directly benefit residents, with Kaxda singled out for priority funding.

Kaxda District Commissioner Sheikh Abdurisaq Mohamed Sheik welcomed the pledge, saying the projects would strengthen local development efforts.

Officials said the meeting ended with an agreement between district and regional leaders to work closely together on the planned initiatives.
