Mogadishu suicide bomb kills two, several others injured
A suicide bomber blows up near a hotel that is currently inhabited by internally displaced people in the capital of Mogadishu. The explosion came as the security situation in the city had tightened for weeks.
Reports further indicate the targeted restaurant mostly used by government troops especially Somali National Army officials.
Security forces have immediately arrived at the scene and detained most of the entrances where a checkpoint is guarded at the Somali Presidential Center.
Al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack, but Somali government security agencies have not yet commented on the explosion.
