MP Booroow dies in Mogadishu after illness

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Mohamed Mursal Booroow, MP from South West state has passed on after a short illness, Lower House Speaker Madan Mursal and family have confirmed.

Sources said Booroow had been sick before he succumbed to his illness in Mogadishu. The lawmaker survived a bomb attack in September 2018 but lost one of his limbs.

Speaker Mursal condoled with the family.  “I share the grief and pain with the family, relatives and the entire Somali community. May God have mercy on MP Mohamed Mursal Booroow,” said Mursal.
