MP Mohamoud Magan “IJA is Meddling the Assembly Selection Process”

Federal MP Mogamoud Ali Magan has blasted the Interim Jubbaland Administration for violation of human rights and for illegal evictions of some of the Kismayo residents.

On the other hand the MP he faulted the Jubbaland assembly selection process which he says is flawed, he accuses the IJA of meddling the process “They created Salagle as a new district out of nowhere and denied the existence Buundhuube as a district, in this case we cannot agree on anything” said the MP who was once Jubbaland presidential candidate.

The MP was speaking alongside traditional elders who walked out from the assembly selection conference in Kismayo in protest and came to Mogadishu, citing the same reasons as the MP.

But the deputy president of IJA Abdullaahi Fartag has refuted the claims and called for restrain.
