New Chinese Ambassador to Somalia Presents Credentials to President Mohamud

GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU: President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has this afternoon received the credentials of the new Chinese Ambassador to Somalia.

Ambassador Wang Yu presented his credentials to President Mohamud at Villa Somalia following his arrival to the country early this month.

President Mohamud congratulated Ambassador Yu for his new role as China’s top diplomat in Somalia and reiterated the fostering of relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Yu now replaces his immediate predecessor Fei Shangchao.
