New Defence Ministry spokesman appointed 

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Defense Minister Abduqadir Mohamed Nur Jama has appointed a new Spokesman for the Ministry of Defence of the Federal Government of Somalia.

Brigadier General Abdullahi Ali Canood has been appointed to the role in order to strengthen the relationship between the media and the Ministry.

Before his appointment, General Aanood previously served in various positions in the Somali National Army Command.
